Gorgeous Girls In Supply Chain: Rhythm Kaur Gandhi

Welcome to our series celebrating the incredible women in Supply Chain and Logistics! In a traditionally male-dominated field, it's important to shine a light on the inspiring women who are making a significant impact. Through a mix of insightful and fun questions, we’ll explore their journeys, challenges, and successes. While we acknowledge the contributions of everyone in this industry, this series aims to elevate the voices and stories of women who often get missed. Rhythm Kaur Gandhi is our next feature.

RHYTHM KAUR GANDHI

Founder of Fleet Regulators and your go-to fractional safety manager, Rhythm helps trucking companies stay compliant without the chaos. Like many of us, she didn’t plan to land in logistics, but once she saw how messy safety and compliance really were, she couldn’t unsee it.

She’s blunt, brilliant, and doesn’t wait for permission. Her clients don’t just get clean inspections, they get clarity, confidence, and someone who actually gives a damn. And when she’s not chasing documents or changing the narrative around safety, you’ll find her deep in a podcast with an iced coffee in hand.

She’s been a longtime supporter of mine, and I’m so proud to feature her here. Keep your eye on her, she’s not just in the safety game, she’s changing it.

  1. What is your current role and company?

    • Founder of Fleet Regulators and call myself The Safety Gal - your go-to fractional safety manager helping trucking companies stay compliant.

  2. How did you end up in the world of supply chain?

    • Like most great plot twists, out of nowhere. I entered the industry out of necessity during post-grad hiring freezes, but once I got a taste of how broken safety and compliance were, I couldn’t look away. I didn’t just want to work in it, I wanted to fix it. What started with one client and a spreadsheet is now a full-blown operation that helps carriers protect their business, profits, and reputation.

  3. What is your favourite part of your work day?

    • That moment when a client realizes staying compliant isn’t just about avoiding fines, it’s about making more money and building trust. Also, hearing “we had a clean inspection!” never gets old.

  4. What is the least favourite part of your work day?

    • Chasing people for documents they should’ve uploaded a week ago. It’s a recurring nightmare, but we get through it.

  5. What is a systemic issue in your part of the supply chain that concerns you currently?

    • How safety is treated like an afterthought. It’s often reactive, outsourced without context, or handled by someone with no real stake in outcomes. That mindset costs companies money, drivers their records, and a lot of times innocent lives.

  6. How would you address it if you had the power, money, or influence?

    • I’d make it mandatory for every carrier to have a dedicated safety professional or a fractional one like me with real authority and full transparency. Safety can’t be an afterthought. I’d also invest in tech that doesn’t just track compliance but actively helps change behavior in real time. Prevention over punishment, always.

  7. What is one piece of advice you have for young women entering your field?

    • Don’t wait for permission. This industry might test your patience, but let it build your power. Learn the rules, master the language, and show up with backbone. You don’t have to act like “one of the guys,” you just have to be undeniably good.

  8. What are your top 3 podcasts? (do not have to be industry related)

  9. Who are your top 5 women in supply chain to follow on LinkedIn?

  10. How do you deal with creeps you encounter in your work day?

    • Honestly, I ignore them. They’re not worth my time or energy. My peace and boundaries are non-negotiable, and I’m done with people-pleasing. I show up as I am - if someone can’t handle that, they’re welcome to respectfully exit stage left.

  11. What is your favourite way to unwind?

    • Long walks with a strong podcast, a large iced vanilla latte, and a playlist that goes from Bollywood bangers to Taylor Swift in 3 seconds flat.

  12. What have you recently changed your mind about?

    • That everything needs to be perfect before launching. Progress > perfection. People connect with your growth, not your polish.

  13. Must haves to get you thru the day?

    • My laptop-iPad duo for maximum chaos control

    • Coffee to keep me sane (and nice)

    • My savior—my power bank

    • Slack + GSuite to keep operations tight

    • My psycho playlist in 5 languages—it’s my therapy
